Dr Yuen took great care in explaining to myself and my child the condition we were seeing him for. He was genuinely concerned for our family and the medical situation we find ourselves in. He went out of his way to arrange an urgent appointment in another department for the very next day. Dr Yuen reassured me and my child and ensured we understood everything.

Dr Yuen is a forward thinking, committed and enthusiastic colleague who has patient safety and service improvement at the heart of his work. He has been of great help over the years, and is a great inspiration to his junior staff.

Dr Yeun is a great doctor, he says matters (problems) clear and sensible and plus he is a great , good doctor to have if you are ill....(i hope you think the same)

Doctor was very thorough. He was very pealsant with my 6 year old son and put him at ease. He has put my mind at rest about my sons health and has made it clear that I can come back at an time.
Profile
I am a consultant paediatrician who is passionate about delivering high quality care for patients and improving services & lives for children and families. I have postgraduate diplomas in medical education & healthcare leadership and a completed a one year fellowship in quality improvement with the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement.
Whilst I am based in Chesterfield Royal Hospital, I have a regional role safeguarding children.
My current focus is to co-produce a whole system, multi-agency Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder pathway across Derbyshire.
